This page explains what information we collect when you visit our website, sign up for event updates, request photos, or get in touch, and how you can control the information you share with us.
1. The information we collect
Depending on how you use our website, we may collect:
- Contact information: Your name and email address when you sign up for updates or request event photos.
- Booking information: Contact details, event information, and anything else you choose to share when submitting a booking inquiry.
- Event preferences: Whether you've opted into event announcements, high-resolution photographs, or other communications.
- Website activity: With your permission, information about how you discovered our website, which event pages you visited, and whether you clicked a ticket link.
- Technical information: Basic information, such as browser details and IP addresses, that may be processed by our website hosting and security services.
We use this information to respond to inquiries, share the updates you've requested, understand how our events are discovered, and improve our website and promotions.
2. Cookies, or galletas
We use optional cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how people discover our events and improve how we promote future shows.
When you visit our website, you can choose whether to allow advertising and measurement cookies.
No Thanks means we won't activate our optional Meta Pixel tracking.
Allow Cookies means you agree to that tracking for the purposes described here.
Our website uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to help us understand event-page visits, measure promotional activity, and understand when visitors click through to ticket checkout.
When enabled, this technology may collect or transmit information such as:
- Pages visited and actions taken on our website
- Browser and device information
- IP address and similar technical identifiers
- Referral information showing how you reached our website
- Cookie identifiers used for advertising measurement
Meta may process this information for advertising-related purposes under its own privacy practices. We may also use this activity to evaluate advertising campaigns and create advertising audiences.
We don't intentionally send names, email addresses, booking messages, or payment-card information through our Pixel events.
Cookies are optional. You can decline them without losing access to our events, galleries, or ticket links.
You can also change your choice later using the Cookie Preferences control on our website. Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking by our website; it doesn't automatically erase information previously received by Meta.
We may use necessary browser storage to remember your cookie choice and support basic website functions.
For more information about Meta's data practices, visit the Meta Privacy Policy.
3. Email signups & event updates
If you subscribe to Vinyl Vagos updates, we may email you about upcoming events, ticket announcements, special programming, or other Vinyl Vagos news.
Signing up is optional.
We only use your contact information for promotional communications you've agreed to receive.
Signup information submitted through our website is currently stored using Netlify Forms, and we manage our subscriber list directly.
If you'd like to unsubscribe from event announcements or request removal from our mailing list, email us at info@vinylvagos.com. We'll honor your request and stop sending promotional emails to that address.
If we introduce an email marketing service in the future, we'll update this policy to reflect how that service processes subscriber information.
Submitting a booking inquiry or purchasing a ticket does not automatically subscribe you to promotional emails.
4. Event photography & video
We love capturing the people, music, and moments that make our events special.
Photography and video recording may take place at Vinyl Vagos events. Selected images and videos may appear in our website galleries, event recaps, and social media.
If a photo or video featuring you appears on our platforms and you'd like to discuss its use or request removal, contact us at info@vinylvagos.com.
Depending on the form, high-resolution event photographs may be included with event announcements or offered as an additional preference.
Signing up to receive event photos is optional and does not grant Vinyl Vagos additional permission to use your likeness in advertising.
For promotional productions, featured commercial images, or other uses requiring individual permission, we may request separate consent.
5. Booking inquiries
When you contact Vinyl Vagos about performing at an event, we collect the information you submit so we can respond, discuss availability, prepare proposals, and coordinate potential bookings.
This may include your name, contact information, organization, event details, and any other information you voluntarily provide.
We don't automatically add booking contacts to our promotional mailing list.
6. Tickets & payments
When you purchase tickets to certain Vinyl Vagos events, you may be redirected to a secure checkout operated by Square.
Square processes your payment and may collect information necessary to complete the transaction, including billing information and payment details.
Vinyl Vagos does not collect or store your full payment-card number through our website.
We may receive transaction information from Square, such as purchase details, ticket quantities, and customer information made available to the event organizer. We use this information to manage ticket sales, confirm purchases, assist customers, and coordinate event admission.
Your use of Square's checkout is also subject to Square's privacy practices.
Visiting our website's ticket confirmation page does not, by itself, verify a completed purchase. Square's transaction records remain our source for payment confirmation.
7. Third-party services
We use selected services to operate our website and events.
These include:
- Netlify: Website hosting and collection of submissions through our website forms.
- Meta: Optional website tracking, advertising measurement, and promotion.
- Square: Ticket checkout and payment processing.
Our website uses Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts to display its typography. When you visit our website, your browser may connect to these services to load fonts. These connections may share technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, with the providers.
Our Playlists page also features embedded Spotify players. Spotify may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies when the page loads, even if you don't press play. Spotify's own privacy policy explains how it handles this information.
Our Live Sets page uses YouTube content, including video thumbnails and subscription features. Some YouTube resources may load automatically when you visit the page, while additional content may load when you choose to watch a video. These connections may share technical information with YouTube, which operates under Google's privacy practices.
These services operate separately from our optional Meta Pixel. Our Cookie Preferences controls currently apply to Meta tracking and do not disable external font loading, Spotify embeds, or YouTube resources.
Our website may also link to or feature content from services such as Instagram, YouTube, and Spotify. When you choose to interact with those services, their own privacy practices may apply.
We share information with service providers as needed for these purposes, or when required by law.
We do not sell our email subscriber lists to data brokers. Advertising-related transfers through technologies such as the Meta Pixel may be considered sharing under certain privacy laws, which is why we give visitors a choice about optional tracking.
8. How we protect & retain information
We take reasonable steps to limit access to personal information and use services that provide security protections for their respective systems.
Information submitted through our website is accessible to authorized people who help operate Vinyl Vagos and to the service providers involved in processing it.
We retain information while it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including communications you've requested, booking coordination, event operations, and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Different categories of information may need to be retained for different periods. You can contact us to ask about information we hold or request its deletion.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to collect only what we need and handle it responsibly.
9. Your choices & requests
You have control over the information you choose to share with us.
You can:
- Decline or withdraw consent to optional website tracking.
- Unsubscribe from promotional communications.
- Change your preferences for receiving event photos.
- Ask us to correct or delete personal information we hold.
- Contact us about photographs or videos featuring you.
- Ask how your information is being used.
We'll review and respond to privacy-related requests, subject to any applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations.
To make a request, email info@vinylvagos.com.
You may also have additional privacy rights depending on the laws that apply to you.
10. Changes to this policy
As Vinyl Vagos grows, we may update this policy to reflect new website features, services, or privacy practices.
When we make changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
If a change requires a new consent choice, we'll request it where appropriate rather than treating an earlier choice as permission for unrelated tracking.
